Art has been a part of my life since I could hold a crayon. I can remember at age four or five colouring in my printed coloring books and yearning to stretch beyond those black lines to create something of my own. I was so content to be left alone at my little folding desk and chair.
Life has never gotten in my way since those umcompicated days. Over the past many years my chairs and desks have gotten bigger and I have kept on creating in one form or another.
From Cinema to Cement: My Professional Evolution
I entered the film industry for that creative reason. My education sent me into film management but being surrounded by creative people and ideas sustained me when I did not produce my own ideas. Since retiring from film production here in British Columbia, I have filled my days with self-expression in my art studio and on line. I enjoy producing garden art from concrete as well as hydrostone indoor decor. For three years I was a contributing artist to a decor company who would reproduce my pieces. Now I have my own production studio.
A walk in Singapore and the birth of Reflexology Pavers
In Singapore I discovered the reflexology foot path and the tingling energy that crept up my spine after a walk. Returning home I realized that producing a path for my backyard was tedious and complicated and a lot of work. To market my creations I had to master online website management. Thanks to the live weekly classes of Wealthy Affiliate and my classmates there I am developing a I on understanding of website management and affiliate marketing at the same time. This is one of my websites which I am proud to be able to present. It has much tweaking to do but I have stretched beyond my comfort zone in comfort with Wealthy Affiliate support.
Working on line, working from home and enjoying my life is a gift I am grateful for every day. I hope it shows in my creative expression.
